When you hear about Ibiza, the word “party” probably comes to mind?! But Ibiza is much more than a party island. As a matter of fact, Ibiza is more than just one island.

It is a small archipelago of 3 islands known as “Las Pitiusas”, including Ibiza, Formentera and Espalmador.

How to get there

Flying is almost certainly the quickest and most convenient method of travel to the island of Ibiza. There’s a wide choice of airlines which offer flights at competitive prices.

Ibiza has an international airport which serves both the island of Ibiza and the neighbouring smaller island of Formentera. Situated in Sant Jordi, on the southern tip of the island, the airport is just 7.5 kilometres away from Ibiza Town centre (around 7 minutes by car).
The majority of international flights in and out of the island are seasonal, operating during the main tourist season between May and October.

You can take public buses from the airport straight to Ibiza Town centre and other towns and resorts on the island.

Where to stay

For the first time travelers and those who want to experience the more authentic, traditional side of Ibiza, staying in Ibiza Town itself is a great idea.

For party people, Sant Jordi de ses Salines is an excellent choice. Playa de Portinatx is a popular spot for budget backpackers and young people. For travellers dreaming of Ibiza sunsets and party, San Antonio is the place to stay!
